It is almost 2 months that I have been with the world's second largest soft co. And I have started to like the job, quite dearly...
This is a 'no non-sense' company...perfectly straight forward in things...
Right from the selection process it was obvious..they didn't conduct an aptitude test..they didn't even ask me to introduce myself in the interview...they didn't ask any routine HR questions...they cared only for the technical abilities...because that it is what they needed the most...They didn't say that you should wear this and that...they didn't say that you should come at this time to office and leave only at other...They don't have an attendance system..And they were pretty straight forward in their figures too..They pay exactly what they quote... looking back, I realize that there wasn't a better place for me to fit in...
Still it took me time to come out of DEShaw hang over..But I should admit that I am perfectly happy now...Stepping inside, I reckon , that there wasn't a single concern at the backdrop to disturb me... I remember that it was not the case when I had changes in my status quo...When I moved into DonBosco,when I stepped in NITC,always there was some sort of fear at the backdrop...But I was and am at complete ease in this wonderful environment...
Now the challenge is to not get carried away..to maintain the same passion for the things I love...
